Todd and Carrie Hessel came to Algona in August 2005 with a variety of ministry experience. Although a graduate of University of Missouri with a degree in Biochemical engineering, Todd knew that his life was to be involved in glorifying God by being invested in the lives of people. He accepted a missions assignment with Great Commission Ministries and raised the support necessary to be on staff at the University of Missouri with The Rock.

 

After having been involved in ministry as a vocation for over five years, the call on his life to continue has become even greater. Todd and Carrie moved to Chicago where Todd was able graduate with a MDiv from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.

 

The Hessel’s desire to love and glorify God with their lives and be involved in helping others to do the same. Todd has a blog where he posts personal devotionals and other items of interest (http://algonabread.blogspot.com).

 

Carrie and Todd have one child, Cora. Carrie is a Physical Therapist and currently works part-time with some of the regional care centers. She has a passion for Jesus and a concern for all people.
