WOW! Worship On Wednesday Church Family Focus: 6:00 – 7:30 pm 3 Mighty Ministry Modules When coming, they wonder what God will do! When leaving, they know what they will do!
1 – Dinner in foyer. [20 minutes*] Prepared and served strictly from 6:00-6:20, such as hot dogs, sandwiches (PBJ, sliders, Sloppy Joes, cold cuts, egg salad, etc.), macaroni and cheese, soup, chili, etc. Provided by volunteers such as church families, small groups, councils, prayer triads, ministry group projects, individuals, or, on Rally nights, ordered in. Either for everyone in foyer, or serving children downstairs with youth and adults upstairs (rendering one transition instead of two! Need: Food service director and band of volunteers. Planning menu. Arranging food. Arranging for the set-up and take-down of service. serve food beginning at 6:00 and finish by 6:20!
2 – Lesson in classroom. [40 minutes*] Age Appropriate. Prayer: Lessons: Children Gospel Project week lesson. Youth apologetics. Adults Doctrine. Need: Teacher and Assistant to lead prayer time and lesson for each class.
3 – Challenge in worship center. [30 minutes*] Songs biblically accurate and meaningful to children and adults alike. ➢ Music worship: Led by WOW worship leader(s) and likely using online songs. ➢ Service worship: Talent service - Approved demo of talent with art, music, skits, scripture memory, lesson applications, etc. ➢ Exhortation Worship: Testimony, puppets, Bible storytelling, Gospel presentation, Q & A, etc. Need: Worship director. Worship songs, memory verses, possibly service moment (talent for Jesus), and time worship time to be 15 minutes! Exhortation puppets, testimony, Object lesson, etc. 15 minutes.
Module times are pretty strict and includes transition time between modules. Rally nights are the last Wednesday in each month and are explained below.
